Tips and questions
- What can I use instead of gochugaru?
- Mild chilli flakes mixed with a little sweet paprika come closest. Use less if your flakes are very hot.
- How long does it keep?
- It is best on the day. In the fridge it keeps 1 to 2 days but loses its crunch as the cucumber releases water.
- What do I serve it with?
- It is a typical banchan: serve it with rice and Korean barbecue, bulgogi or any grilled meat.
